My story
I know what it’s like to know exactly what to do… and not do it.
Before Coaching With Amira, I spent years working in recruiting and career strategy, helping people make decisions, navigate big transitions, and figure out what came next.
But if I’m being real, I’ve also lived the other side of it: having a million ideas, knowing exactly what I should be doing, procrastinating anyway, getting overwhelmed by everything on my plate, and wondering why something that should be simple feels so hard to start.
I’m a recovering procrastinator, chronic idea-haver, and someone who personally relates to many ADHD and executive-function struggles, although I’m not formally diagnosed. That combination is a huge part of why I became interested in coaching.
I don’t believe most people need another person telling them to “just be more disciplined.” Sometimes you need help getting everything out of your head, figuring out what actually matters, breaking it into realistic steps, and having somebody in your corner who’s going to ask:
“Okay…but did you actually do it?”
I’m currently completing my life coaching certification, bringing coaching principles together with my experience in strategy, career support, organization, and accountability.
